今年も真珠のネックレスのリモデルを承ります。〈 su Ha 〉の厳選した血赤枝珊瑚をあしらったデザインにくわえて、6色に絹糸を染め分けたオールノットでのお仕立てをご紹介します。

真珠のネックレスは、日本人女性の多くが一度は身に着けたことのある定番のアクセサリー。人生の節目に手にしたもの、家族から譲り受けたものなど、身近にひとつはお持ちではないでしょうか。

フォーマルな印象の真珠を、さまざまなスタイリングに合わせてカジュアルに楽しむ人が増えています。新たな印象に生まれ変わるリモデルを通じて、真珠のネックレスをデイリーに楽しむ贅沢をご提案します。

三菱一号館美術館にて「ルノワール×セザンヌ ―モダンを拓いた2人の巨匠」展が開催されます。同展の開催期間中も引き続き、ミュージアムショップ「Store 1894」にて、su Haのジュエリーをお取扱いいただきます。

開催中の展覧会や、三菱一号館の歴史や背景に紐づいた商品がバリエーション豊かに並ぶ「Store 1894」。ミュージアムショップおよび美術館に併設するカフェには鑑賞券をお持ちでない方もご自由にお越しいただけます。

“Rose twig” Red coral stud earrings / pair

While unique, they are carefully crafted and sophisticated earrings.

小枝のような赤珊瑚のピアス。
枝振りのニュアンスと色艶が揃っているのは、ペアを同じ枝から揃えてカットしているためです。遊び心がありながらきちんと上質なピアスです。

“Rose twig” Red coral stud earring / single

Red coral is a biomineral formed through biomineralization, a process in which living organisms produce minerals.
Red coral grows in a tree-like shape with spreading branches to capture the calcium and bicarbonate ions in seawater needed for this process.
Until the mid-20th century, its beautiful, deep red color was thought to be due to iron complexes, but it is now known to come from the carotenoid pigment canthaxanthin.
Carotenoids are pigments found not only in plants such as tomatoes and carrots, but also in animals like flamingos and spiny lobsters.

赤珊瑚は、生物が鉱物を作り出すバイオミネラリゼーションによって生成される生体鉱物です。赤珊瑚はこの過程に必要な海水中のカルシウムイオンと重炭酸イオンを捉えようと、大きく枝を張って樹木状に成長します。
美しく深みのある赤色は、20世紀中頃までは鉄の錯塩によると考えられていましたが、現在ではカロテノイド色素のカンタキサンチンであることが分かっています。 カロテノイドは、トマトやニンジンなどの植物に加え、フラミンゴや伊勢海老といった動物にも広く存在する色素です。

山桜はきめの細かい木肌と温かみのある色合いから優しい印象がありますが、こちらの山桜はかなり癖の強いタイプ。緑がかった褐色の筋を取り込んで、ゼブラ柄のようなワイルドな印象に仕上げました。山桜ならではの飴色へと深まるにつれ、上品なコントラストに変化していきます。

ひと癖あるから飽きがこない。木というのは、つくづくヒューマンな素材です。
